When life gives you lemons...

Come on, admit it... when was the last time you used Yoyo Yellow? There’s a lot of prejudice against this colour but I like it! And it’s perfect for this simple lemon card – teamed with Basic Black, the Yoyo Yellow is quite striking, don’t you think?

As on my previous fruity card, I used the Poppin’ Pastels technique – it gives the lemons a nice “smooshy” look.

I’ll let you fill in the second half of this saying – suffice to say it’s not the usual chirpy homily. I think the recipient will much prefer my version. Of course, writing greetings by hand is a risky business – the inside went wrong so I had to cover it up with a piece of Whisper White.

I’m not sure what size this card is – it didn’t look quite right so I kept cutting it down... and down... and now I need to find an envelope to fit.
