Sale-a-Bration begins... and my Top 10 picks from the Spring/Summer catalogue

Today’s the day! TWO new Stampin’ Up!® catalogues go live… the Spring/Summer catalogue and the one you’ve all been waiting for: Sale-a-Bration!

There’s too much to say so I’ll keep it as brief as I can. During Sale-a-Bration (hereafter known as SAB which is so much easier to type), everybody wins!

Customers
Get a free item of your choice from the SAB brochure for every £45 you spend! Spend £45 now and get a free item. Spend another £45 later and get another. Spend £90 and choose two! You get the idea. But be warned: the items from page 16 onwards are only available until 15th Feb, after which there will be more products on the way!

Hosts
Hold a party during SAB and, if the workshop total reaches £200, you will receive an additional £20 in Stampin’ Rewards. You can earn SAB items on your own spends, too (it’s a win-win!) Your party total is likely to be higher because your friends will want to earn SAB items and you only need five people to place a £45 order to hit that magical target!

Recruits
It’s a win-win-win for new recruits! The Starter Kit is already great value at £99 but during SAB it’s even better as, on top of your business pack, you can choose £160 of craft products from the catalogue.  In addition, shipping is free and, once you’ve joined you can start ordering at a discount, getting free SAB items on your orders, Stampin’ Rewards when you are the hostess and building up your sales for even greater rewards!  Click here to join my team today!

That’s Sale-a-Bration in a nutshell, even if it was a coconut rather than a hazelnut. Now onto the Spring/Summer catalogue. I thought I’d show you a few products by giving you my Top 10 picks. It wasn’t easy, I can tell you! So, in no particular order (because that would have been even harder)…

1. Big Shot Die Brush

Why? Because detailed dies are so tricky to clean up, and little bits of paper get jammed in them.
What does it do? Simply brush this over the back of the die and the pieces will just pop out effortlessly.

2. It’s My Party Enamel Dots

Why? They’re just dots, I know… but I was late to the party with the ones from the Christmas catalogue and now I realise the error of my ways. They’re gorgeous! So shiny and now in lovely springy colours, too!

3. Baker’s Twine combo pack

Why? It may just be boring old Baker’s Twine but look at those colours pop! I love the use of black to accentuate the brightness of the Melon Mambo and the paleness of the Mint Macaron.

4. Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack

Why? Because I love maps, and I love grungy stuff, and I can see endless possibilities for this paper for masculine projects. The colours are great, too!

5. Wink of Stella

Why? Because it’s glitz without the mess. You know how I feel about glitter. Well this brush pen will allow me to add glamour to projects without the ensuing awkwardness of standing talking to somebody at work and realising they’re staring at me intently because I have glitter on my face.

6. Party Pop-Up Thinlits Dies

Why? Seriously, you have to ask? These are so much fun and will make you look like a crafting genius with very little effort. Use them flat, or use them on pre-scored cardstock to create spectacular pop-ups, then sit back and soak up the compliments.

7. Botanical Blooms Bundle

Why? What’s great about this bundle is that you get stamps, dies AND Designer Series Papers… and the price is just enough to earn you a free SAB item. You can, of course, choose any SAB item – but there just happens to be a stamp set which co-ordinates perfectly. Shopping has never been easier.

8. In The Meadow

Why? It’s too soon after Christmas for you not to sing “we can build a snowman” in reply, but put all wintry thoughts out of your head and imagine watercolouring these gorgeous images in beautiful spring colours. Mountains, plants and deer… all the ingredients for a lovely pastoral scene.

9. Timeless Textures

Why? Because distressing is the crafter’s friend; it can cover up all manner of unintentional smears. Also I have gazed into my crystal ball and I think – although I am only guessing and have no inside info whatsoever – that Gorgeous Grunge’s days are numbered. I just hope this one makes it into the big catalogue as my crystal ball also showed a LOT of shabby chic in my future…

10. Playful Pals/Pyramid Pals bundle

Why? Because they’re sooooooooo cuuuuuuuuute! Look at their little faces! This is SUCH an innovative stamp set/die combo, but it’s old-school, too, as you stamp multiple images to build up a picture. Use the Thinlits set to create your pyramids (which can, if you wish, be achingly classy, rather than screamingly cute) then if you’re going down the cute route, add eyes, ears, a trunk, beak, whatever… and build yourself a whole menagerie of fun creatures.

Want them all? Go on, treat yourself… you’ll get loads of SAB freebies!
